Bro. Gary Taylor is a native of Muhlenberg County where he was pastor of New Hope for 15 years. In February of 2004 Gary become the pastor of OBBC. He is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelors in Agriculture and earned his Masters of Arts degree in Christian Studies from The Cumberlands.
Gary has been married to his high school sweetheart, Lori Taylor, for 30 years and they have two children. Their son Chris is a graduate of Campbellsville University and is currently attending Southeastern Seminary. He is a Southern Baptist pastor and is married to Mandy. They have two children: Madyson Grace who was born on April 2, 2013 and Caden Lane who was born on May 22 2016. Gary’s daughter Nicole is a graduate of Murray State University and is presently teaching at Grapevine Elementary in Madisonville, KY. She is married to Lance Pace.
Gary loves the church, and he loves people. Gary loves his family they are extremely important to his life and ministry. His hobbies include: Duck, Turkey, and Deer hunting with his son, Chris; traveling with his wife, Lori; and shopping with his daughter Nicole. Gary also loves spending time with his grandkids: “they rock my world!”.
Bro. Jonathan Harralson was born and raised in Hopkins County, KY. He has been married to his wife Mandy for 16 years and they have two children – Jacob and Carlie. Jonathan was saved in December, 2002 at age 23. He surrendered to the ministry in May, 2004. Jonathan served as Interim Youth Minister at Grapevine Baptist Church in Madisonville from 2008 until 2011 where he was licensed and ordained into the Gospel Ministry. From 2011 until 2016 he served as Pastor of Johnson Island Baptist Church in Nebo. Jonathan accepted God’s call to be Youth Pastor at Olive Branch Baptist Church in April, 2016.
Jonathan is also employed at AT&T where he has worked for over 16 years. He has been a maintenance technician and is currently a Construction Supervisor.
Jonathan loves his family and they are very important to his life and ministry. Jonathan’s hobbies include reading, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
Minister of Education/ Associate Pastor
Bro. Clint Brame is a native of Hopkinsville, KY. He grew up on a farm in Christian County and became a Christian at the age of 15. Shortly there after he felt God calling him to ministry. Clint met his future wife Amanda while attending school at Campbellsville University. They were married in 2010 and in 2014 had their daughter Elizabeth.
He attended Campbellsville University from 2004 until 2008 and majored in educational ministries. From 2008 until 2012 he worked with HR Ministries based out of Princeton, KY ministering to students in the Job Corps program and to inmates at the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex. He and his family moved to Louisville, KY in December of 2012 in order for Clint to continue his education at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He completed his Masters in Christian Education in 2017. While going to school he worked as a vehicle technician for Valvoline and later as the Counseling Manager at Whitney Young Job Corps. He joined the staff at Olive Branch Baptist Church on November 1st 2016.
Clint loves to spend time with his wonderful wife and exuberant daughter. He enjoys outdoors, hunting, games, reading, science fiction, and watching movies.
Peggy Totton is a faithful member of Olive Branch and works in the office. She began working as church secretary in 2009 and has been a part of the church staff since that time.
Bro. Jonathan Watkins was born and raised in Owensboro, KY, and has been married to Emily Watkins since 2011. Since then, have had two children; William and Grace. Jonathan’s passion for music began at a very early age, beginning with music classes as early as 3 years old. Eventually, Jonathan’s primary instrument became the clarinet, which lead him to Murray State University, where he learned that he shared his passion of music with a passion of finance and business. He double-majored, and obtained both a Bachelor of Science in Music, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Additionally, he is also currently employed with Old National Bank where he works within the Risk Management department as a Compliance Officer.
Since graduating from Murray State, Jonathan felt the call to use his musical gifts to serve God. In late 2015, Jonathan answered that call, and became the Music Director for Olive Branch Baptist Church.
Outside of church, Jonathan loves spending time with his family, golfing, and camping.
Bro. Justin Cardwell has spent his whole life in Hopkins County, KY minus the short time his father was a missionary in Browning, MT on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Justin was saved in the winter of 1993 as a 10-year-old boy on the mission field. He married his wife Tara in 2005 and they have two children – Jase and Emma. Justin accepted the call to the ministry in October 2005 and has been serving in some type of church leadership role ever since. Justin and his family first visited OBBC in the Spring of 2016. Justin accepted the call as the Children’s Pastor December 2017.
Justin is also employed by Medical Center Ambulance Service where he has worked as an EMT/Paramedic since 2002, and he currently fills the role as the Supervisor of Operations. He also is an instructor at Madisonville Community College in the Emergency Medical Service Program.
Justin loves spending time with his family and church family. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting sports
